Louise has over 20 years’ experience of dealing with property claims, including liability and coverage disputes. Her work spans both household and commercial claims with a strong track record in dealing with complex and sensitive matters.
She specialises in complex property claims including policy indemnity disputes and regularly advises insurers in respect of defending actions and complaints pursued by policyholders and first party fraud, including where appropriate liaising with insurers' complaints, public relations and CEO teams. She also assists insurers with submissions to the Financial Ombudsman Service. Louise regularly advises clients on fraudulent claims involving staged incidents, arson, exaggeration and the use of fraudulent devices.
Louise is a nominated individual for large loss property claims for several insurers and is regularly instructed in respect of complex high value multi-party, and multi-jurisdiction, litigation relating to property liability claims.
