Michelle McCullough joined Keoghs as a Partner in August 2025, bringing over 15 years of experience in defending claims on behalf of insurance clients in Northern Ireland. Michelle heads up our Northern Irish Property Risks and Coverage team. This team works on a range of claims arising out of household and commercial insurance policies.
Handling claims for several major insurers, Michelle advises on complex policy indemnity issues and property damage disputes arising from fires, escapes of water and oil, as well as design/construction failures. She also has vast experience in complex and large loss litigation across a range of sectors including casualty and motor claims for a number of leading insurance clients.
Michelle graduated from Queen’s University Belfast with an LLB in 2010 and was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in Northern Ireland in 2012. In addition, in 2017 she achieved a Certificate in Advanced Advocacy. Michelle was the Northern Ireland Chair of the Forum of Insurance Lawyers (FOIL ) from 2021-2022 as well as being an active member of the Costs and CPR Sector Focus Groups from 2020-2025.
Michelle balances her strong analytical skills with a practical approach to litigation to achieve the optimum results for her clients.
