Kirsty joined Keoghs in January 2025 as a partner in the occupational disease team. She has worked as a defence litigator in the insurance sector since qualifying in 2007 and has nearly 15 years’ experience specialising in defending occupational disease claims.
Kirsty has extensive experience acting for legacy insurers, reinsurers and their policyholders’ with a particular focus on high value and complex asbestos claims including mesothelioma and asbestos-related lung cancer. She also regularly receives direct instructions from corporate clients and local authorities who have been unable to trace historic liability insurance. In addition to asbestos claims, Kirsty has significant experience of handling a wide range of long and short tail disease claims including silicosis, NIHL, HAVS, work related upper limb disorders and stress at work.
