Katie joined Keoghs’ London Complex Injury Team in February 2022. She has been handling defendant catastrophic injury cases including claims for over a decade.
Katie has extensive experience and technical expertise in dealing with matters involving serious orthopaedic injuries, amputations, spinal injuries, brain injuries and claims involving chronic pain.
She also has experience in dealing with cases under the Fatal Accidents Act and with cases internationally and in the Channel Islands. She is recognised in the Legal 500 as key lawyer in London.
Katie is known for her hardworking nature and attention to detail. She is always approachable and will go the extra mile to get results. She has a common sense and commercial approach to dealing with cases and is balanced and methodical. Katie is highly intuitive and thorough with the cases she deals with, whilst keeping a careful eye on the cost/benefit analysis of a particular course of action.
Katie regularly provides training, articles and podcasts on a wide range of issues relating to her areas of expertise and is part of Keoghs Special Interest Group for Amputation Claims.
