Katie Everson is an Associate in the healthcare team, based in the Liverpool office. She joined the firm in August 2025 and brings over 10 years of litigation experience. Katie advises on a broad spectrum of claims involving medical professionals including dentists, doctors, nurses and other healthcare practitioners acting through their private insurers or medical defence organisations. Her practice also includes advising on inquests and regulatory proceedings.
Katie handles cases ranging widely in complexity and value. She has particular expertise in dental and cosmetic surgery claims. Prior to joining Keoghs, Katie worked for a global insurer panel firm defending a wide range of clinical negligence claims and previously held an in-house role as a clinical risk lawyer advising on clinical negligence, regulatory and inquest matters.
Katie adopts analytical and detail driven approach to evaluating claims, consistently achieving excellent outcomes for clients. She combines empathy and clear communication when supporting clinicians with a robust strategic defence where needed ensuring trust, clarity and results throughout the litigation process.
