Julie is a Partner in our Complex & Catastrophic Loss Team who handles a range of complex large loss and catastrophic injury claims arising from road traffic accidents, as well as employers and public liability claims. She has a particular interest in brain, spinal and amputation injuries, including catastrophic claims involving children. Her caseload also includes claims involving Functional Neurological Disorder, chronic pain, fibromyalgia and polytrauma, as well as Fatal Accident Act claims.
Julie has many years of experience in dealing with cases under the Serious Injury Guide, and managing jointly instructed rehabilitation packages, including attendance at MDT meetings. She regularly deals with cases involving statutory funding issues and the Court of Protection (both Financial and Health and Welfare Deputies), claims for accommodation, Provisional Damages and Periodical Payment Orders.
Julie is a member of the Keoghs Spinal Injury Special Interest Group and regularly delivers training for clients on a range of subjects.
