Ben is the Head of Intelligence at Keoghs, where he leads the firm’s strategic intelligence capability across its national counter‑fraud and risk‑management operations. He is responsible for the design, governance, and delivery of intelligence frameworks that support complex investigations, inform litigation strategy, and enhance clients’ ability to identify and mitigate emerging fraud risks.
Ben brings over two decades of intelligence‑sector experience, spanning law enforcement, major law firms, and cross‑industry fraud‑prevention initiatives. Before joining Keoghs, he spent 19 years at Clyde & Co, ultimately serving as Head of Fraud Intelligence, where he built and led a high‑performing intelligence function supporting large‑scale civil fraud litigation, organised‑network disruption, and strategic threat assessment. His work included the development of enterprise‑level intelligence processes, integration of advanced analytical methodologies, and close collaboration with insurer clients on national fraud strategies.
Ben began his career in policing, working with North Wales Police and later with West Midlands Police, producing both tactical and strategic intelligence products. His early work focused on cross‑border criminality, organised offending, and multi‑agency intelligence coordination — experience that continues to underpin his structured, evidence‑driven approach.
Across his career, Ben has contributed to major industry‑wide intelligence programmes, multi‑insurer operations, and the evolution of best‑practice standards in intelligence and fraud prevention. He is recognised for his ability to translate complex intelligence into clear, actionable insight for senior stakeholders, operational teams, and legal specialists.
At Keoghs, Ben leads a multidisciplinary team of analysts and intelligence professionals, combining traditional intelligence tradecraft with data‑driven methodologies, OSINT, and technology‑enabled analysis. His focus is on strengthening Keoghs’ market‑leading intelligence framework and ensuring clients benefit from timely, accurate, and commercially aligned intelligence outputs.
