Laurie brings with her over 22 years’ experience in defence of large and complex employer and public liability and motor claims alongside criminal expertise in the management of both Health & Safety Executive and motor prosecutions/ Fatal Accident Inquiries.  Laurie has a wealth of expertise in advising insurers, large corporates, public bodies and individuals in complex regulatory claims, including those arising from fatalities and catastrophic incidents.  She also has an impressive track record managing high profile and sensitive cases attracting media interest.

Laurie Traynor, Partner, Keoghs Scotland said: “As well as the impressive client list at Keoghs, the market-leading team here played a large part in my decision to join. I am delighted to strengthen both the large loss and HSE/ motor prosecution defence offerings in Scotland. I look forward to using my expertise to assist Keoghs clients wherever I can.”

With over 20 years of experience in dealing with industrial disease claims in both England and Scotland, Zoe Strong will head up Keoghs Scottish disease team. Zoe’s specialism is in high value and complex asbestos claims, although she has expertise in all areas of legacy claims. She has defended a range of clients including insurers, local authorities and central government, as well as large, self-insured clients across various industries.

In her new role, Zoe is looking to grow the team and is currently actively recruiting to meet increasing demand as Keoghs Scotland continues to grow its client base in this sector.

Zoe Strong, Partner, Keoghs Scotland said: “I’m really excited to be joining the team in Glasgow and for the opportunity to build on the solid foundations Keoghs already have. There is fantastic potential to work together with our new and existing clients and to promote significant growth in the disease team. Keoghs are highly motivated towards ensuring that we really deliver for our clients and I am committed to maintaining those high service levels as I drive the disease team forward”.
