Davies unveils new agentic AI features in its ClaimPilot product suite as it doubles down on technology investment

    06/10/2025

Davies, the leading specialist professional services and technology firm serving insurance and highly regulated markets, today unveiled new agentic AI features to its ClaimPilot product suite. The firm has developed and is deploying two new AI-agents that are assisting Davies’ casualty claims handlers and adjusters, freeing up their time to focus on higher value parts of the claim process.

The first AI-agent automates claim opening and related tasks, initiating itself, reading and interpreting documents, and seeking assistance from a claims handler if needed. The agent uses generative AI and large language model (LLM) technology and is capable of self-learning to enhance its future performance. The second AI-agent focuses on automating parts of claim validation and injury valuation. It also initiates itself and learns from both its own work and human input. Combining LLMs with traditional data science techniques, it delivers highly accurate injury valuations for casualty claims.

Importantly, both agents are configurable to meet client needs and can be activated or deactivated depending on a client’s approach to AI adoption. Given the complexity of casualty claims, spanning investigation, documentation, and legal review, agentic AI presents a significant opportunity to achieve faster, more accurate, and more consistent outcomes throughout the claim lifecycle.

This launch is part of a series of agentic AI features Davies will introduce as part of its multi-million-pound investment in AI and GenAI automation, across its ClaimPilot product suite in the U.S. and UK & Ireland.

Dan Saulter, Group CEO of Davies, said: “It’s great to see the hard work of our in-house engineering and operations teams paying off as we launch these two new LLM-powered AI agents into our ClaimPilot product suite, during the second half of 2025. We have a fantastic roadmap of agentic AI features for 2026 and 2027, and we are enjoying talking to our clients about how our investment in agentic AI can help them with their claims needs and improve outcomes for their businesses, and their policyholders.”

The launch represents a key milestone for its “Vision 2030” strategy, anchored on four strategic pillars: Technology & AI investment, Organic growth & cross-selling; Geographic & solution expansion; and Operational excellence.

Davies new agentic AI deployment comes shortly after the firm announced that Adam Warwick would join the business, as Group Chief Information Officer, in early October 2025.
