Benefits
Our team is trained and experienced in all forms of dispute resolution, from traditional court litigation to alternative settlement methods such as mediation.
We actively promote Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) techniques and will always consider suitable avenues for ADR at the earliest opportunity. Two of our partners are trained mediators and we have concluded many successful mediations which have proved effective in resolving disputes more quickly than traditional methods. Consequently, disruption is minimised, third party and legal costs are reduced and relationships can be maintained.
However, if litigation is the most appropriate course of action, we will pursue the case with the required drive and vigour to obtain a successful outcome.
We have also received professional recognition. The commercial insurance litigation team is ranked by both the Chambers Guide to the Legal Profession and Legal 500, who describe the team as ‘astute and constructive'. Head of the department Jonathan Lowe is personally ranked by Chambers and has also been listed in the Legal Experts directory since 2003.
