As fraud continues to grow across all lines of business, claims organisations are under pressure to ensure they have efficient and effective counter-fraud measures in place. Some of the challenges they face include:
- Coping with the additional workload arising from increased fraud detection across the board and delivering the savings required
- Investing in the expertise necessary to tackle more fraud in non-motor areas
- Keeping up to date with the latest tools and techniques to help pursue and penalise fraudsters
- Complying with new and changing legislation, particularly the impending ‘MoJ Reforms'
We aim to address some of these challenges at our inaugural Fraud Conference in London on 25th February 2010.
Our conference uses as its roadmap Keoghs' Counter-Fraud Continuum, our experience-based model of how counter-fraud strategies should ideally be approached. We will explore the above challenges by reference to a number of key issues that underlie each of the four critical components of any counter-fraud strategy – identification, validation, investigation and resolution.
Keoghs' leading counter-fraud lawyers and intelligence specialists will be joined by a number of guest speakers from fraud investigation, I.T. and academic organisations to provide practical guidance and advice to clients on how to improve their counter-fraud activities.
The content will be of particular interest to claims managers, counter-fraud managers and others involved in combating insurance fraud. As well as plenary sessions, there will also be a number of focused educational workshops available to delegates covering several specialist areas.
Due to the anticipated popularity of this event, attendance is strictly on an invitation-only basis. For more information regarding the event, contact Mark Brennan on 01204 678609 or e-mail mbrennan@keoghs.co.uk.
