As well as developing talent within the firm, we run a number of initiatives to encourage young talent in our local communities.
We operate a university scholarship scheme to help develop stronger links with local schools, and to attract young people to the legal profession and to Keoghs. As part of this scheme, students have the opportunity to work at Keoghs during holiday periods throughout their studies so they can gain practical experience of working in a legal environment.
Since 2002, we have worked with a number of local primary schools to produce our annual calendar. Staff select a different theme each year, and school children are invited to draw pictures to illustrate this. This year’s theme “My perfect day…” provided an opportunity for the children’s imaginations to run riot and the end result has once again proved very popular with staff and clients alike.
