Intelligence Services

One area where we are able to add significant value is in the field of intelligence.  We have an impressive range of resources available to pursue intelligence gathering which is unrivalled in the marketplace.  Due to the growth in demand for intelligence services, we have established a specialist division, Keoghs Intelligence Services (KIS), within our Counter-Fraud Services division to specifically focus on the unique strengths and capabilities we have acquired in this field.

Keoghs' Intelligence team was initially set up over 5 years ago.  We were the first law firm servicing insurance fraud work to invest in specialist intelligence resources.  Our fraud claims handling processes have been designed specifically to ensure the maximum use of intelligence throughout the lifecycle of all claims.

All claims received by our Counter-Fraud Services division are first analysed and the appropriate intelligence is gathered before any legal staff touch the file.  This ensures that the right intelligence is available to the lawyer when formulating the claims strategy, which enhances the probability of our achieving a successful outcome for our clients.

Over the past 5 years Keoghs has invested heavily in the deployment of IT to support our intelligence processes.  We use highly bespoke versions of market leading applications from i2 as the backbone of our services.  These act as a permanent repository (subject always to DPA compliance) for all information collected during intelligence gathering.
