What it's like to work at Keoghs

At Keoghs we all contribute towards a positive friendly and rewarding workplace which means we can enjoy what we do but lots of other elements help make it a great place to work.

Involvement

Under the business excellence approach, we have developed a strong team ethos and sense of belonging. Good channels of internal communication are critical to morale of staff, and therefore the success of our business. Information is cascaded throughout the firm via regular team meetings, a Monthly Newsletter, the staff Bulletin and AGM.

Our staff forum “My Say” ensures feedback from staff can be received and taken into account. It gives them an opportunity to be involved and also find out about what is happening within the business.

Reward and Recognition

We have many reward schemes in place aimed at providing recognition of individual and team effort as well as excellence within the teams.

With an emphasis on identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and rewarding suggestions to bring about such improvements.

Social Aspects

Each office has an established Social Committee which is responsible for organising fun and social events for employees offering employees the chance to get to get to know more people within the organisation. A whole variety of events are organised throughout the year which range from theatre trips to white water rafting or weekends away. The firm also has its own football and netball team.

Staff and members of the firm also get involved in numerous charity events through the year which are organised by the Charity Committee.

Well Being

We have a well being programme which offers staff a range of “well being” services, all part of an initiative to promote well-being at work. The services include on-site hypnotherapy, reflexology, Indian head massage as well as advice on nutrition and aromatherapy.

Other benefits that are provided include :

  • On-site dry cleaning
  • Subsidised parking scheme
  • Flexible benefits
  • Catering facilities to site
