At Keoghs we focus on selectively recruiting and continuously developing people who are technically strong, motivated and eager to work hard for our clients.

Our HR and Learning and Development teams are responsible for the delivery of our comprehensive People Strategy, which focuses on:

  • Delivering structured technical training to staff throughout their careers from induction onwards.
  • Supporting team leaders within the firm with a formal development programme.
  • Providing competency based training across the business in both technical issues and ‘soft skills’.

We have developed specialist in-house academy programmes for our Claims Management Services and Counter-Fraud Services divisions and provide regular specialist training to staff in our Technical Claims Services division.

In addition to technical training we have devised a Commercial Skills Framework of 12 business-critical ‘soft-skills’ – including Client Focus, Presentation Skills and Problem Solving & Decision Making. The training courses to support these competencies are equally useful to both fee earners and support staff.

Training is provided both by our own trainers and external providers – using a variety of methods including classroom training, e-learning, vodcasts, podcasts and RSS feeds.
