Biography

Andrew has dealt with defendant personal injury litigation since joining Keoghs in 1987. He specialises in neuro trauma following both liability and motor accidents. Cases of note include Wright v Sullivan CA, Harris v Perry CA, Lambert v Clayton CA, Wilkinson v Churchill CA and the ECJ. Andrew was a founding member of Foil and held the post of treasurer for over 10 years as well as being president of FOIL in 2005. As president Andrew instigated a market debate on multi track personal injury behavioural reform which has culminated in the multi track code initiative, currently being piloted by a number of major insurers and Apil with support of the CJC. This work is ongoing. Andrew currently chairs FOIL's special focus group on rules and protocols.

In 2010 Andrew was invited to join the Ogden Working Party and assisted in the publication of the 7th edition in 2011. Andrew won the inaugural award for Defendant Personal Injury Lawyer of the Year at the 2008 Personal Injury Awards.
