Motor Claims

Keoghs has handled motor work for over 40 years. Acting for insurers who underwrite two thirds of the UK motor market, we deal with thousands of motor claims every year – over 40,000 in the last two years alone. Exposure to such a volume of claims gives us a wealth of knowledge and makes Keoghs one of the most experienced operators in today’s motor market.

We deal with claims of any type and value arising from both private motor and fleet policies. High volume, low value work is handled in our Claims Management Services division, whilst our technical motor experts deal with matters that are more complex and challenging. This includes

Higher value delegated authority cases, up to £100,000
Cases involving uninsured drivers and the Motor Insurers’ Bureau
Claims with an international dimension e.g incidents abroad or involving foreign nationals in this country

Cases can be handled on a delegated or non-delegated authority basis.
Screening procedures ensure that claims requiring more specialist attention (e.g. complex injuries, credit hire, fraud, motor crime prosecutions LINKS) are directed to dedicated, expert teams.
Our technical expertise is encapsulated into the workflows of an advanced case management system which proactively drives case handling.
