Employers' Liability

We understand that EL claims have the potential to be disruptive in the workplace, and need to be managed effectively and with sensitivity.

• We can implement a proactive strategy that covers all aspects of a claim, not just the financial considerations.  For example, the provision of generous benefits packages by employers can act as a disincentive for employees to return to work. Also, the effect on workplace morale and industrial relations must be considered if there is a ‘claims culture’ within an organisation.

Public Liability

The personal injury aspect of public liability claims is also an area where we have great expertise.

• We cover the full range of claims.  Whether it is a common slip or trip in your premises, or a more serious accident where a member of the public is seriously or fatally injured, our team has the knowledge to help defend claims against your public liability insurance.
• We can provide extensive advice and representation in contract disputes on behalf of public liability insurers including advising on contract obligations, exclusion and indemnity clauses, interpretation of policy terms, avoidance issues and concurrent liability in tort.
