Keoghs Shortlisted for National Excellence Award - 16/10/2007
Keoghs has been shortlisted for a top prize at the Law Society Excellence Awards in London.
Taking place on the 25 October 2007 and hosted by the BBC’s Jeremy Vine, the event has been designed to reward outstanding achievement across the legal profession.
Keoghs has been nominated in the ‘Quality of Life’ category after impressing the judges with its ‘Excellence’ programme’. The firm will compete against four other firms from across the UK.
Introduced last year, Keoghs’ Excellence programme is a business management framework based on seven shared behaviours. It sums up the firm’s culture and open attitude to employees and the way it interacts with clients.
Key principles of the model include showing respect, fostering achievement and acting as a team.
John Whittle, Chief Executive at Keoghs, said: “The introduction of the Excellence programme last year marked a step change in the development of Keoghs.
“We’ve worked hard to embed our seven shared behaviours across both offices over the last 12 months, and the level of buy-in that we’ve had to these principles at all levels has been fantastic. I’m confident that developing a culture that empowers people will reap significant rewards for everyone at Keoghs.
“Being nominated for such a prestigious award is a great honour and fantastic recognition of everyone’s effort.”
Keoghs has offices in Bolton and Coventry and employs 500 people.
