Keoghs Shines in National Legal Rankings - 30/11/2007
National law firm Keoghs has been described by the two most influential guides in the UK legal market as offering “exemplary client management” and employing solicitors that “genuinely want to work in partnership” with businesses.
The Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners’ annual listings place Keoghs in nine of the north west tables in categories including defendant personal injury, employment, insurance and professional negligence. Keoghs also appears within four of the West Midlands tables.
In Legal 500, the firm is the only Bolton practice listed within the crime, employment, health and safety, defendant personal injury and professional negligence categories. Keoghs is also the only firm within the town to register within Chambers and Partners’ general insurance, defendant personal injury, employment and litigation / dispute resolution categories.
Both directories provide an in-depth survey of the national legal market and are based on thousands of interviews to assess the reputation and expertise of business lawyers in the UK.
In addition to contacting clients, the organisations benchmark their finding against a detailed representative sample of UK leading companies.
John Whittle, chief executive at Keoghs, said: “The books are a valuable reference tool for buyers of legal services as they provide independent opinion about the standing of law firms in the market. The results in the latest Chambers and Legal 500 guides not only illustrate the high level of expertise we have as a firm, but how fast we continue to develop.”
