Harjinder has 12 years industry experience, which began at Lovells.

Harjinder has the benefit of working for both Claimants and Defendants during her career in private practice. In addition to dealing with complex and catastrophic RTA and EL/PL cases, she also has a particular interest in indemnity issues, amputation and brain injury cases.

Examples of her work include acting for the Government of Abu Dhabi in relation to BCCI, which also included a secondment in the Middle East; representation of rail crash victims at the Public Inquiries following the Southall and Paddington disasters; acting on behalf of the Tobacco Industry to defend class actions.

As well as dealing with complex claims, Harjinder has played a major role in assisting Insurers in setting their own internal strategies. This included reviewing and revising Service Level Agreements with non- legal providers, assisting in setting and implementing costs savings strategies, improving Insurers understanding of the Rehabilitation Code and putting this into practice.
