Company History

Keoghs, formerly Keogh Ritson, was formed in 1968 by merger between George Keogh & Co and Thomas Ritson & Co.

We simplified our name and became Keoghs in 2000.

We opened a Coventry office in 1999 and moved into a new, purpose built building in Bolton in 2001. 

We achieved ISO9001 quality accreditation in 1997 and have successfully retained this standard ever since.

We attained Lexcel, the Law Society’s practice management standard, in 2007 and  have held Investors in People accreditation since 2004.

Sustained growth over recent years has seen our firm become one of the foremost insurance litigation firms, employing over 500 people.
