Motor Claims
We deal with all manner of motor claims (including cases where fraud is suspected), on behalf of corporate insureds and insurer clients, arising from both private and commercial fleet policies. We have over 35 years' experience in handling matters from pre-proceedings to settlement or trial.
A good indication of the capability of a service provider is its client base. We act for a large number of the UK's top 20 insurers handling motor claims for many of their private and corporate insureds, who themselves can be large national companies needing the highest service standard levels.
How we can help
Our Delegated Authority unit offers a highly systemised service to handle large volumes of small and fast track motor litigation, whilst never forgetting that you, the customer, are at the centre of the process. We are confident that we have one of the most efficient models in the marketplace.
Our Non Delegated Authority Unit handles cases of any value, providing the same high quality of service via our case management system.
Our philosophy centres around driving cases to resolution in the shortest possible timescale without compromising either overall claims cost or customer service.
Services
We advise on personal injury and accidental damage claims as well as fraudulent motor claims, credit hire and recoveries.
We handle many cases involving uninsured drivers.
We also have experience of handling road traffic accident claims involving foreign nationals in this country, and incidents which have occurred abroad.
Benefits
Proven reliability. We are increasing our market share in what is actually a decreasing market (insurance litigation). This demonstrates that our clients have the fullest confidence in Keoghs.
Relevant experience. Motor and fraud work is responsible for over half our caseload, therefore we have the necessary experience and expertise to handle large volumes of claims, as well as provide a consistently high standard of service.
Customer focused. We always keep our clients' objectives at the heart of any strategy or work undertaken, ensuring that we meet requirements while aiming to exceed expectations.
Professional recognition. Keoghs is consistently ranked as one of the leading firms for Defendant Personal Injury in both Legal 500 and Chambers Guide to the Legal Profession, the two principal independent commentators on our profession. In 2006, Chambers describes Keoghs as “red-hot and diligent” and “they are progressive, customer focused and do a great job for the right price”. Head of Litigation, David Tyson, is also recommended by Legal 500 and has been listed in the Legal Experts Directory since 2003.
