David joined the firm as a Partner in January 2008 and is no stranger to Keoghs, having joined the firm in 1999 as a solicitor and becoming a Partner in 2002. Great clients, excellent colleagues and a great place to work have attracted him back to the firm together with the opportunity to build on the success of the recently formed dedicated disease team led by Gary Fitpatrick.
David has many years industry experience dealing with complex multi-track employers liability and public liability matters and disease cases.
For the past 4 years he has specialised in successfully defending a group action dealing primarily with chemical poisoning. David currently advises composite insurers and leading chemical companies on asbsestos legacies and policy intepretation. He is currently leading a project for a leading chemical company with regard to their historic asbestos legacy and mesothelioma claims.
