Chronic Pain Claims - Controlling The Process - 04/03/2008
Following on from the success of our Chronic Pain Claims seminar in Bolton last September, we are re-running this event at a venue in central London.
The issues surrounding Chronic Regional Pain Syndrome can be very complex and cover a variety of medical conditions. Whether handling or defending chronic pain claims, a wide range of factors will influence your decisions. Understanding these issues is becoming increasingly important for insurers if these claims are to be resolved in a fair and efficient, yet sensitive, manner.
The Seminar
Keoghs’ Chronic Pain team are joined by 3 leading medical experts to present a full-day seminar on chronic pain claims. We are delighted to once again welcome Professor Jayson, Consultant Rheumatologist and Dr McDowell, Consultant Pain Specialist. In addition, Dr Holden, Consultant Psychiatrist will be joining our panel of experts for this event.
The seminar will provide a wealth of information on current issues and recent developments in this field, including:
- The changing role of medical experts
- Pain clinics and treatment options
- Current law relating to chronic pain
- Tactics for defending claims
- Dealing with malingering and exaggeration
